An estimated 3 million pounds of nitrogen per year enters the Indian River Lagoon affecting more than 4,300 species of plants and animals. At Harbor Septic LLC, we install nitrogen-reducing septic systems to aide in the reduction of nitrogen absorbed into our ground water and entering the lagoon.
Harbor Septic is a direct payee of the Save Our Indian River Lagoon Grant Program. Allowing, the homeowner to rest easy and not stress the finances. Grants of up to $20,000 are available to eligible homeowners. Eligibility is based upon a property's estimated nitrogen contribution through groundwater.
